Capital Markets

Capital markets are the markets, in which stocks and medium to long term bonds are traded. Could be said that capital markets include stock markets and bond markets and are a part of financial markets.

Capital plays a significant role in our day’s economical and social life. Capital is necessary for economies to grow. Countries that attract more investments usually have better employment and GDP indicators. However, from the social side, capital has another meaning. Capitalists are not very beloved by the poorer people who are angry that billionaires are increasing their wealth even more while they are fighting to meet the basic needs.
