Investment DictionaryFloating Exchange Rate
Floating exchange rate is a regime of a currency which sets currency ratio naturally according to demand and supply in the market. Most of the biggest currencies (EUR, USD, GBP, JPY and others) are floating currencies.
If all the currencies would have pegged exchange rates then Forex market trading would not be possible.
