Non-Financial Investments
When talks go about investing and investments everybody focuses on financial investments forgetting that spectrum of investments is much broader. Investment in non-financial investments is also popular, especially widespread investment in real estate.
When someone acquires tangible assets it is difficult to say whether it is investment or it‘s not. For example, if a resident buys an apartment where he is going to live, is it investment or he just meets his needs? Or a collectible wine lover buys for himself an expensive drink with possibility to ever sell it in the future. If he will drink that wine by himself, of course, the will be not much of investment.
However, not everyone who buys a property does it with investment approach, although the purchase of real estate should be assessed primarily in terms of an investment acquisition.
